It's a lot easier on my knees! I have several sets of knee pads but they tend to ride up and down and around. I was working on a wooden floor and eventually decided I needed something better. Not to mention that we have a lot of tiles and grout that need maintenance. It's definitely better than even my fanciest pair of knee pads. Just for reference, I'm 5ft 10", 120# so my experience might be a little different than someone on the other end of the spectrum. However my husband is at the 200lb mark and had the exact same thing as me. He just didn't use it as much as I did. The padding isn't the thickest, but it does the job. I can always add something of my own. The wheels roll and turn smoothly. They roll so well that I had to resort to knee pads when using our belt sander. As fun as it was, the belt sander dragged me across the room! I tend to be a little rough, but so far it hasn't even crackled. I broke the last item of this type we had like this. The area for your knees is at least double what I need. I used enough space to store more items. I can build a separate wheeled platform to store all my tools and attach it to pull me. Just be careful when using it when repairing floors. There may be marks on the wood. I haven't tried it, but it's definitely possible.
