I think the idea of this product is reliable but there are some problems. The most important among them is the design and the amount of discomfort it causes. The width of the widest part is only 4 inches. While the 2 "arms" on the sides can be flexed and stretched, they must be kept in a straight position or else they will try to return to their original position. This puts pressure on both sides of the neck, which is very uncomfortable. Also, the pads, while flexible, are limited in where they can be placed on the neck due to the neck design mentioned above. I don't have a 4" neck. The model in the product photo has a very thin neck, which is probably why it sits so low on her neck. As for me, if I want it to sit that low on my neck, I have to put it on hold in place.
