I bought two of these units and both had the same issue. I bought this to have very little use of my car battery during covid19. I figured it would be handy to have a small manipulator that I could permanently connect to my battery, which is in the trunk of my car, using the eyelet connectors. Even when this was connected to my battery, it broke after a few months. Then I realized that this maintainer will never reach 100% of a solid LED, it keeps blinking. I didn't read the instructions as well as I should have and thought it was fine at first. So I blamed the age of the battery and bought a new one. I wanted to charge a new AGM battery I bought and the same thing happened. You can keep this connection indefinitely and it will never reach 100%. I measured the output voltage and it stayed at or just above 14.7V while flashing at 100% for a week. Remember that the service technician should have reached 100% and finished charging the battery as it was new and only slightly discharged. So it's still charging at 14.7V. I connected a more powerful charger/maintainer and it showed a 95% charge. I let this charge the battery and it was ready in a couple of hours. I decided to try this Autoxel again to see if it would stay 100% charged for a day and it failed. It still doesn't show the battery at 100% and flashes endlessly, delivering a charge of 14.7V again. It's unhealthy for the battery to keep getting that voltage when it's actually already fully charged. Plugged in my other maintainer and again the charge level was at 95%. It took some time before he could get it to 100%. Autoxel actually drains it to 95% and never reaches a full charge. All settings have been set correctly for AGM, but this maintainer has failed and can actually do more harm than good. I now have a battery tester and it rated the battery as good. with 100% SOC and SOH after using my other charger to confirm these strange results with Autoxel were not due to a bad new battery.
