They were pretty easy to install. I have a TV hanging over the fireplace for easier removal. I have 55". The application is pretty easy. If you have a big TV, I know you need to place the light a bit closer to the center of the TV. Other than that, it's pretty easy. I used black gorilla tape, just to reinforce it the ends where there is no glue one thing i really complain about is the paper peels off the glue, it wasn't cut properly so you didn't feel where you were peeling off the paper backing should, so I used some tape and stuck it on the paper part to peel it off and separate it from the sticky side, if you're not careful you blow it all away, be careful, the remote control is a bit confusing, but you'll get to that later understand a while.General backlight and easy on the eyes.
