Hello, I bought this item a few months ago and it worked well with my Galaxy S8 (SM-G950U1). However, about a week ago my phone was updated to the latest version of Android (Android 9) which also caused DEX to stop working. Now when I plug the adapter into my phone, the phone doesn't even seem to recognize anything is plugged into it. I give the product 5 stars because it actually worked, it's just that the latest Android update broke it. The only reason I'm writing this review is to notify potential buyers who want to buy this adapter for the same phone. Hopefully Samsung will release an update in the future to fix the problem, but as of 05/09/19 it has stopped working. .
