Review on Logitech Z130 Compact Laptop Speakers with 3.5mm Jack - Powerful Sound in Sleek Black by Yung Kitamura

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wow Computer Accessories & Peripherals

I can't believe the quality of these $20 speakers. I just wanted to upgrade my laptop's speakers and no wonder it's a massive upgrade. First, I looked at Bose studio monitors or computer speakers, both of which cost around $100 a pair. Then I thought about the idea of buying a $50-$75 Logitech system or something similar with a subwoofer and satellite speakers. I then decided that I didn't want to risk buying a low to mid range computer audio system only to be disappointed, so I figured I'd go with a basic traditional pair of speakers. It was between this pair and a pair of Revainbasics and I noticed that this pair from Logitcech has a total RMS of 5W compared to the Revain's 3W total RMS, so I settled on Logitech's. I'm very glad I chose them because they not only perform better than other speakers in their price range, but they sound great too. Except at extremely high volumes, they do not distort the sound. They're loud enough to fill a room with clarity at high volumes and have decent bass too. I also really like that they plug into your computer's headphone jack and don't require a USB connection. If I want to listen to headphones, there is a jack socket on the right speaker. This is a very good price for a pair of computer speakers. Unless you're VERY picky and don't consider yourself an audiophile snob, they're perfect.
