This cushion is very pretty, with a lovely sheen on the fabric. The champagne colored ribbon matched the color scheme of our wedding. It is also very light and easy to hold for small hands. I also really liked that the fake rings are firmly attached (which was actually an advantage for me, albeit a disadvantage for the other reviewers here). As much as I love my nephew, I just DID NOT trust this exuberant four year old with our wedding rings! This cushion is great for other brides who want cushion rings for "show" but want to entrust their real engagement rings to an adult (as we did with our best man). I also liked that they were tightly crammed in there so if my nephew dropped the pillow we didn't have to go looking for the rings on the floor afterwards (luckily he didn't - but it was nice to know even if he did it did, there would be nothing left on the floor). However, I believe this is a disadvantage for those who want to put their real wedding rings (or other rings, as there is no way to detach these rings) on the pillow. However, I should note that this pillow is MUCH smaller than the pillow itself. it looks just like the photo posted. I think this is perfect for any ring bearer kid like mine. But it may look strange in an older one (e.g. a child over the age of five). It's also a little flimsy in its construction. It came in brand new condition but my nephew kept tearing the beads off and some of the threads were loose. Luckily my sister was able to make him socially acceptable and then kept him away until the ceremony. If you also have a wild ring bearer, keep this in mind. Overall, it worked great for my wedding ceremony.
