Review on Scubapro Aladin Wrist Computer Watch by Jason Hayes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent Reliable Dive Computer

My previous dive/watch computer flooded on my first dive. There was a decent range of wristop computers/watches on the island (several Cressi and Oceanic models, Shearwater Teric) etc. I've researched as much as I can but couldn't find anything on Scubapro. It's a bit new. I chose it for functionality and style/readability. The center of the screen is a dot matrix, allowing many different readings to be displayed when switching between screens during a dive. This is a great dive computer/watch that has everything a recreational diver needs. It works with nitrox, air and apnea. It logs dives. It has Bluetooth where you can download your dives. There is an application for iPhone and one for Windows (laptop). Both apps work great and allow you to enter notes and other important details. Bluetooth was flawless. I won't cover all the features, but unless you're a multi-gas diver, this watch has everything you need in a dive computer. I think this is a great product. The display is extremely easy to read underwater and the menus are so simple it's insane. You can choose from different layouts and the screen format that you see underwater. I was afraid of making a mistake before buying. But I didn't. i love this watch Easy to read. Easy to use. Looks very nice with a metal frame (better than A2 in my opinion). This is a rugged watch that looks like a rugged watch but is also an excellent dive computer for recreational divers. The only downside is that the user cannot replace the battery. This is normal because my last dive computer flooded after replacing the second battery. The A1 battery is said to last 2 years and there is a battery gauge to show how much charge is left. I have logged over 20 dives with my watch and am very happy with it. I used to have Oceanic 2.0 and Scubapro has a much better screen, layout, menus and build. The Scubapro really looks and feels like a watch. My Oceanic Gro 2.0 felt so thick and pliable. If in doubt, don't hesitate. This is a great product. The price is a bit higher but backed by a reputable dive company with an excellent reputation. This is a good product and I would buy it again.
