I love this little USB hub Y cable. Fixes a major reception issue for my Logitech Unifying receiver and 3dconnexion SpaceMouse receiver and keeps my desk clean. Was very impressed with the thick cable, the length between the USB ports and the hub electronics was perfect for me. And it is actually an active USB hub. I wasn't sure if it was just a Y-cable for passive USB charging or something. I attached a USB end to each side of the monitor stand, keeping the mouse receivers away from the computer electronics, dock electronics, and even the hub. Electronics. I've had major problems with Logi and 3dconnexion receivers having major reception problems when plugged directly into a desktop or thunderbolt hub and this solves the problem. Also, I don't now burn two USB ports on the dock. It's USB 2.0 only, but then again I use it for mouse receivers and probably only ever will, so it's perfect.
