Quiet and stable. in watch fittings

Mine has been running for about 10 months now. The movement loses about two seconds a week - very good accuracy in this price range. The mechanism runs smoothly and is absolutely silent. You have to put your ear right next to it to hear anything at all. hands on the thin side. Although the packaging was good enough to avoid damage, they are very easy to bend when fitted (especially used ones). The simple shapes go well with the modern design and look good on a 12 inch dial (see attached photo). The battery compartment is a bit tight. I had to bend one of the tabs to allow the battery to fit properly. Force would certainly split the thin plastic on both sides. The rod barely went through the 1/8" plexiglass. Concerned about the hassle required to fit the original equipment, I replaced the (too) thick rubber washer with a thinner one from the craft box. If you have the same problem , a piece of tape instead of the original washer provides enough grip to do the job. Simply center and stick a square of tape over the hole on the back of the dial, then cut through with X-acto. Make the hole in the tape slightly smaller than the hole in the dial. While the Mudder DIY movement looks a little cheap, it's quiet and tells the time very well.
