Review on πŸ’‘ Convenient USB Rechargeable LED Closet Light with Motion Sensor - Cotanic Cabinet Lights for Cabinet, Wardrobe, Kitchen, Hallway by Quintin Gore

Very bright and dense light. But it has to be pitch black to work!

First, make sure you set this up in near total darkness. I ordered it for a closet that was very dark at night but had little light during the day or when the hall light was on. As it was still difficult to look inside, I figured such a light fixture would be ideal. Installation was easy and the brightness is great (read: very bright). The build quality seems very good and solid. As an example of its durability, I wanted to test it out in a few different positions before installing it, so I used tape to attach it to the ceiling and it inevitably fell 2 or 6 times. It didn't have a scratch after falling 9ft and bouncing off a couple of hooks and a ladder, and it worked just as well as it did right away. This "problem" is that this light may not work if it senses light, even if it's dim and outside of the area you want to illuminate. So I had to send it back. Also, I sometimes had to wave my hand in front of me when the sensor lit up, but this may be due to other ambient light preventing it from working. I chose the 'track all day' mode from another seller. This is what you need in situations where you may not have total darkness but need additional lighting in a tight space like a closet. Overall I recommend this light if it suits your needs and your room is completely dark.

Pros
  • β–Ά Removable and rechargeable. With built-in magnet and double-sided adhesive pads, you can stick it anywhere. There is a strong and safe lithium battery inside the light. All you have to do is remove the light from the wall and use the included USB cable to charge when electricity is not available. Running time after 2 hours full charge: 4-6 hours in always-on mode, 2 months in motion sensor mode (10 times a day).
Cons
  • Mostly ok, but...
