I LOVE this light! I put it in the linen closet in the bathroom. A little dark and hard to find anything. From above it looks very nice - very thin and neat. Very bright light that is so useful! The motion sensor is great too. I open the door, the light is on. I close the door, after a minute or two the light goes out. I don't have to do anything. I think I'll have to charge it eventually, but it's easy enough. Sounds weird but the light makes me really happy! I think this is a simple solution…

However, once the closet door was closed, you could tell from the strip of light at the bottom of the closet door that the motion detector was terribly unstable. Even if there is no movement at all, if you stand 20 feet from a closed cabinet door, you can see the light flashing, turning on and off constantly, whether there is movement or not. This light is amazing! I charged it for 20 minutes and it was ready to use. You can stick it on the surface with the included 3M tapes, or the whole back of the flashlight will be magnetic. I needed freedom of movement, so I went for the magnetic method. If you choose to use ribbon tabs, you can still remove them. Adhesive tabs are attached to magnetic mounts that stay in place. I was disappointed. It has good aesthetic design including elegant appearance, diffused/non-glaring light and 2 magnetic mounts for easy installation and removal for charging. This would be ideal for our closet lights EXCEPT that it should be almost dark before the motion sensors turn them on. The first turn on was enough to prevent the others from turning on. However, one reason I bought the light was that it works automatically and the problem is that the light doesn't turn on automatically unless it's very, very dark. I ordered two of these lights to be installed under kitchen cabinets. I chose them mainly because they have a lens that gives a solid white light instead of the visible 70 LEDs. Installation was simple and easy, and the magnet mount design makes it easy to remove. If the design allows for longer run times of up to 5 minutes then this would be a great light. First, make sure you set this up in near total darkness. I ordered it for a closet that was very dark at night but had little light during the day or when the hall light was on.
