great idea, good quality of the lamp and the body. installed in a closet, provided excellent light. However, once the closet door was closed, you could tell from the strip of light at the bottom of the closet door that the motion detector was terribly unstable. Even if there is no movement at all, if you stand 20 feet from a closed cabinet door, you can see the light flashing, turning on and off constantly, whether there is movement or not. Maybe this one was just defective but too many issues to re-order/replace and then encounter the same difficulty. Great idea, but certainly doesn't work properly in my closet situation.
