I never thought of double sided. the advantage is no confusion about the status, it is crystal clear whether the dishwasher is clean or dirty.2. Alternative Adhesion: Not all dishwashers have a magnetic surface. The manufacturer has taken this into account and included a magnet with poster tape for attachment to the dishwasher and attached a magnet to it. Our dishwasher was magnetic so we didn't use it, but including it in the set was a great idea. Generally just great!
