This is the most notorious video adapter I've ever seen, honestly it should have been remembered a long time ago and here's why. Short? This caused the GPU display port to short out. Any time this device is left plugged into your computer, it will short out and your power supply will start heating up the rest of your computer. Now the longer part. This displayport adapter worked when the computer was on. Thinking this was the end, I left him alone. It wasn't until the next day that I tried booting up my computer and you know what? Only the LED for my lamb bars came on. No signal, no fan movement, nada. From here I thought of my own free will, "Well maybe that's my Evga g2 Supernova 1300W Gold PSU?" Then I thought how silly this idea would be since there is quality in my life other than those cheap adapters. This adapter seems to be because its 20th pin is shortened, which was the main disadvantage of the DisplayPort. a few years ago. This has been fixed over time, but it seems our friends never fixed this issue all those years ago and like to give computer killers away. $5 IS NOT WORTH A NEW POWER SUPPLY OR PC IN GENERAL. I recommend some of the Revains recommended display ports for HDMI cables. A little more expensive but it won't fry your stuff. I would give this place 0 stars if I could.
