Works well, but flow rate is slower than comparable hollow fiber in-line filtration products offered by Sawyer. I had trouble getting a steady flow in gravity mode. I was expecting this difference due to the viral filtration rate (smaller pores). The device itself feels pretty solid and comes with quality adapters for use with quick-change systems. I like the replaceable filter element and the ability to unscrew and open the housing. This makes it easier to clean and store the device after travel. I recently replaced the filter element after the unit froze with water inside.
