I've seen some negative reviews on here so I'm not sure if it was a bad batch or maybe something users did wrong. No problems since November. I picked this up because I ordered a Samsung CRG49 when it came out, which prompted me to build a new table to hold the hippo. Despite the large table, the base of the CRG49 jutted out into my workspace. So I searched the internet and came across this monitor mount. After unpacking, I had to increase the lever tension to keep the monitor from falling on the table. And I actually had to do a few dozen turns to get the upper arm turnbuckle right. I also tighten the Vesa head tension screw a bit to be sure. I would have preferred to move it by hand rather than one. When you take it out of the box you say that this is a quality lever. He's very heavy. Cons: Too bad it came in semi or flat black. While this is my fault, I would like you to dare or caution you to draw your attention to the locking screw on the VESA head that prevents your monitor from rotating. Once you have everything together, there is no other way to screw in that locking screw without removing the monitor from the bracket. Anyway it was in the instructions I just skipped over it and it's a very minor mention. I'll live it, not push it. However, when you slide out or reinsert the bracket, you tend to tilt the monitor slightly from side to side. Notes: Make sure your cables are long enough to reach the PC and power supply when routing the cables along the brackets. I need to order some new cables that are a bit longer as I love using my monitor and arm with my racing SIM card which fully extends my arm.
