I've been using the mic for about a month and haven't had any technical issues. I was able to connect it to my docking station with no problems. At first I thought it was a speaker too, but it's just a microphone. Works great with Zoom, Teams and Google Meets. I try turning it off after my meetings and it randomly turns on. It also activates when my laptop is turned on or restarted. That would be my only complaint at the moment.
