The left cam phaser block was too thick and the gear teeth weren't shaped properly. If you have to hammer it, it will destroy the entire target. I used a cutter wheel to remove about 1/4 inch of the lower body. Then I used a dremel to widen the misshapen teeth where I was finally able to get it working. The left chain puller tool was completely useless as it was too thick and deformed. A screwdriver was used at the end, strategically placed to release the pressure. As others have said, the valve release tool was too long. Cut off 1/8 inch and it almost didn't work. Never.
