Bernina packaging with Bernina instructions I have a Bernina B590 machine and am struggling with a 1/4 inch accurate seam since I bought the machine I even spent about $90 at a sewing store to get a 97D with a guide that didn't work This foot also places the needle on the edge of the fabric so you don't have to go back those few stitches All of my seams are now 1/4" and my quilt squares fit together without struggling with the seam. If you need an accurate seam, this is a great choice. I can't recommend it highly enough. I wish I had found it sooner. It would have saved me a lot of frustration.
