Order both headset and cable

When you order both the headset and quick disconnect cable you get a great product. If you just order a headset, it won't work at all. Cable + headset = really good headset. (*See below for more). The headset is light, comfortable and with excellent sound quality. There are days when I do a bunch of conference calls and wear it all day. You can flip it so you can wear it on either ear. I used to have a cheaper ($10) Panasonic headset that was great but not as reliable - the part where the cord connects to the phone tended to come loose (or something like that). happened in some mysterious inner workings) and the headset made static noise whenever I moved the phone at all - I had to hold the phone absolutely still. I decided it was time for an update. I've only had this headset for 6 weeks but it seems to be holding up well. It's more durable and I don't think it will meet the same fate as the Panasonic. I can't comment on the noise cancellation as I work in a quiet area. I would recommend this headset to anyone who needs a reliable, comfortable, quality sounding headset and is willing to pay a premium for it. UPDATE: I can comment on the noise canceling feature because I've moved to a large apartment complex where there are often loud noises outside my apartment. I can hear the noise but the people I'm on the phone with can't, which is very good. For example, the other day there was construction on the roof right above me and it was so loud I could barely concentrate, but the person on the phone could only hear me. Finally, the headset is extremely durable. I've been wearing it daily for over 2 years now and it still stays strong. If it broke I would buy it again but I don't think it will break any time soon. *Actually, the headset is only half of the product, the quick release cable is the other. Think of it like a shoe with laces: you need both parts to keep the shoe on your feet. In this case you need both parts to connect audio from your phone to your ears. The headset fits in the ears but does not connect to the phone. A quick release cable goes from the phone to the headset.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires power outlet
