I travel for a living and needed something to pack in the fridge and not get stuck on week old dirty smelly dishes. I've used them for several days and they work well. I noticed that some of the negative reviews said the lid was liquid tight. Basically, it is cardboard made from plant fibers. I don't know of any type of cardboard that is impervious to liquids. Those are just unrealistic expectations. My biggest complaint is that they stack inside each other like disposable cups and stick together too well. Disassembly is sometimes tedious. Maybe they swell up during shipping or something. So far they've survived the microwave, I've thrown in a thick mixture of cream cheese and 4 days soup with no spilling or soaking. I'm pretty sure I will buy again.
