We had to protect the picnic table and bench from the kids as the corners are very sharp. Her size was perfect for two on each corner. Even after a couple of weeks and quite a bit of rain they seem to be holding up very well (plastic table, I followed the instructions). I have yet to remove them to see if they leave marks or not. My only complaint is that they're a little purple and not really transparent. Maybe it will fade in the sun over time but I was hoping they would be clear from the start. I didn't want to spend more time returning them and ordering something else and leaving the corners open longer. As I always say, purple defenders are better than hurt kids!
