So no insect light drives away insects! The bug lamp works by emitting light that is invisible to bugs and insects. Most importantly, bugs cannot see yellowish light. So try not to put them on, it makes sense. The incandescent lamp had one major disadvantage; it gave off heat that attracted the bugs! Conventional LEDs produce less UV radiation, which also attracts fewer insects; but not enough to just turn off the ordinary LED light bulb, you'd better use the insect repellent yellow light bulb. In short, FEIT Electric made it out of the park with this one! LED LIGHT = best of all worlds! It offers yellow color, low temperature and does not attract insects. Not to mention the energy savings and lifespan of LED bulbs! If you don't like bugs, take this lightbulb.
