Review on K&H Pet Products Self-Warming Kitty Hooded Bed - Removable Hood for Enhanced SEO by Michelle Meyer

My cat was pregnant and I was looking for an aviary/bed. I ordered this bed and the day before she arrived she gave birth to a kitten (get her). Since she chose to give birth behind a dresser surrounded by curtains and power cords for the TV and its accessories, I figured it would be safer to remove her from that particular location. I unpacked the K&H bed, zipped up the hood, and put mommy and kitty inside! I am very happy with this bed. (POINT) Now for some details: - The bed claims to keep it warm while mom and kittens stay warm, but I installed a heater near her nesting area to keep it warm when mom gets out of bed. The kitten is usually warm and cozy and sleeps well. I was concerned at first as the bottom padding/built in pillow has a gap in the seam and the kitty will roll into that spot and essentially "get stuck", but it pulls through. out of the fold. And he's used that to his advantage, snuggling right into this area for safety and comfort.- The bed itself is about the size of a "big" cat bed. Plenty of room for a small cat (like my kitty mom and her baby) and would also make a great bed for dad, a large fluffy tabby kitten. However, for a larger cat and her little ones, this bed is very cozy. I've added a photo for reference. Kitty is about 2 weeks old and starting to open her eyes. The only real "cons" are: The bottom cushion/padding wears out quickly. The little kitten managed to create a small ditch. But then again, he loves it and uses it to his advantage, and he can move to other parts of the bed. - The zipped "hood" doesn't fold back as one might think. If you want a fully open bed, you'll have to remove it. But I don't consider this a scam, just want to add so others know. Overall I am 100% satisfied with this purchase. In the store you pay almost twice as much for this product. For that price you can't expect a cat bed to last 100 years lol. Anyway, my cat loves her kitty in it and she loves it.
