Review on πŸ”‡ Silence is Bliss! BK030 Pure Rock Slim 2, 130W TDP, CPU Cooler by Michael Hemmig

Quiet and cool as expected; but a nightmare to install

This review is all about Pure Rock Slim which Revain inexplicably shares a product page with Pure Rock at the time of writing. This heatsink fits (!), runs as quietly as I hoped it would, and keeps things as cool as they should be. Your mileage will vary of course, but in my case it's both quieter and cooler than the old liquid cooler it replaced for me. However, installation is another matter. I've built my own computer many times, installing both desktop and server Intel processors and heatsinks. Installing the buttons for this thing on an Intel motherboard was a three-hour nightmare. Try again, try again, watch another youtube video to see if I'm missing something or if I'm crazy, try again, go downstairs to hit the pillow , and then try again. I have no idea what made installing this cooler so much more difficult than any other I've used, but given the risk of such a nightmare, I'm not sure there's a reason the Pure Rock Slim is the higher Be preferable. Quiet models with improved fastening system.
