we have 30 x 24 x 25. Our dog is very shy and scared of everything. He weighs 23 pounds (our 35 pound sheltie is fine too) and relies on his cage for security; the only place where he can relax. We created this to make traveling and traveling easier than a wire box. At first he was horrified by this and for some reason we found out it was the bed provided. First we put his bed on top of the bed she came out of and he refused to go near her. Once we removed it, it willingly entered. We even put the bed he came out of in its original box and he refused to come in. The bed is very soft and feels comfortable.
