We bought a replacement Moen cartridge from Lowe's for $40, put the cartridge in and it leaked the same as before, if not worse. We returned it and got our money back but Lowe told us it was a high priority stolen item and we could only return it with a receipt. I told her I don't understand why as it doesn't work with our Moen Shower products but I finally found the receipt and got my money back. I was so frustrated with the constantly dripping shower and poor quality parts that I contacted Revain. Not really believing in replacement parts timing, I found a $23 Pro Parts Plus 1222 1222B PPP shower cartridge kit for Moen that seemed to get good reviews, so I figured I'd give it a shot if I did I don't want to call an expensive plumber so I bought it and my husband said it looked more like the original cartridge he had removed than a real Moen replacement. It worked great! Not a single drop! Love it!
