Irregular silicone sheet. From the manufacturer's point of view, there is no way to screw this up. It works perfectly as intended. It's too easy not to work. I mainly use them as table mats. I also use them on the bottom of pots filled with water so the plastic bags don't sit directly on the bottom when I'm making poor man's soup. I use them as spoon holders and traps under measuring cups for spills. I use them as anti-slip under mixing bowls. You are really only limited by your imagination to use it. They are easy to clean and easy to put in the dishwasher.
