These shoes were lightweight and easily tied with double laces. My daughter "Sweet Feet" loved them when she first walked the track. In these shoes, she placed 1st in the 100mm, 200mm, 400mm and 2nd in the 1000mm. It was an open track and field event for girls 8u. She came to AAU and needed a different type of shoe, but for trail running and grass, they fit perfectly! She liked bright colors. She mentioned rubbing her knuckles on her back a bit. It's okay, so a little extra pillow helps or we'll buy her another pair next year.
