Fast shipping, keeps what it promises

First of all: I was able to get this for 99 cents in 2 days after I suddenly found out that I had to move into an apartment without a mains connection. The overall price is fair as long as it keeps working. (I'll update this review with a time frame after it dies, but I've bought cheap units in the past that have lasted three or four months and hope this will be different.) Setup is easy. Run the setup executable from the included minidisc, and then restart your computer. After that, the installation took about 2 minutes and it automatically connected to the passwordless WiFi. It's a bit bulkier than I'm used to, but be realistic. If you're considering buying this you either have a really old laptop with no aesthetics or you have a desktop where you can hide the adapter in one of the rear USB ports. Overall I like it so far but will update if anything changes. UPDATE: I've been using it daily for almost three months and it's almost perfect so far. There were two days when the connection was iffy and generally unreliable, but honestly it's rare enough that given the price I don't care. By comparison I've bought a few of these from other companies in the past and when this happened to them it was a quick descent to utter failure. It has recovered well and is still working. Second update: I'm sixteen months old and it still works almost perfectly. I don't think either has ever worked for so long. Third update: I've been using it for a little over two years. It still works great. I will definitely buy the same one when I finally need to replace this item.
