I've been using this camera for a few weeks now and I love how easy it is to get complex shots with light reflections off gemstones. It's basically as simple as point and click! The settings and menus are not difficult to understand at all. Even without a tripod I get good pictures. No flashlights, reflectors, extensions, filters or lens changes required. The special effects work just as well, I especially like the soft and paint effects. The super macro function doesn't really manually focus the way I want, but using the auto function does it for me. No more paying professional photographers, pulling your hair out, or spending hours photoshopping with that kid. I'm still on my first set of batteries after about 200 photos and there is no lag between shots.
