Have had this about a year and love how it heats the water so well. Yhe lod has always been difficult to pull out but i figured it was to keep the water in the keytle and to heat properly. As per the picture, the handle pulled/fell off this evening while I was making water for tea. So disappointing and I've tried to see if it can be fixed but the plastic is completely unfixable. I won't buy another one unless the design has been improved on to where it won't fall apart.
