Works well for cutting heat, but installation is very difficult due to the ridiculous brevity of the instructions. Luckily I found a comment on Utube that explains the "how" AND "why". Before applying the film, the window should be cleaned and scraped with a razor blade to remove anything that may get caught under the film. The film is wetted on both sides to eliminate static cling that would infuriate even the Dali Lama. The surface to which the film will be applied will be wetted to allow you to position the film before using a squeegee to wipe the water over the edges and allow the adhesive to come into contact with the surface. There should be a 1/16 inch gap between the film and the edge of the window to allow water to drain while the squeegee is running (which should be done by depressing the edge, not pulling it out).
