Wonderful! Fixes all my current audio needs

First - I'm old. i am frugal I am stubborn. I have (please don't laugh here) an older homebuilt XP Pro desktop computer. He has a very strong SB! Sound card is no longer supported after Win 7.0 so I'm sticking with XP because I have over 13,000 MP3s that I'm constantly adding to files. I have a lot of experience with Audacity, so at least for me it wasn't a problem. I also play several musical instruments and enjoy recording and looping what I play. I also have a Raspberry Pi-3 and a Linux Cinnamon machine and they all come alive with this USB stick I just bought. it was a mystery to me too. So a pattern of computer ignorance can be seen here, but this UGREEN block was a PNP dream. I can simultaneously line-in, monitor, record, loop and add to previously recorded data. This device has opened several doors for me and I'm sure I will find more. Installing a 3.5 splitter on UGREEN will give you more options with no visible loss. I haven't connected it to a powered USB hub yet, but I think it will work fine. BTW, FYI: If you're using a mic that requires 48VDC to heat the cassette, you'll need to get your XLR phantom power from another source. This does not support condenser mics as it has NO phantom power. Most pedals, preamps, or mixers come with phantom power, so choose one of those options first, then connect it to the 3.5 TRS jack. problem
