Review on Elitehood Metal iPad Mic Stand Holder: 360° Swivel for Ultimate Versatility by Patrick Diaz

I really, really wanted to like this iPad mount as the iPad flip out mount is wide enough to hold my 3rd gen iPad in the OtterBox. I'm a professional keyboard player and used this mount at a gig and it worked great. However, it wasn't until my second gig, when I attached the mount to my mic stand and started expanding the mount so I could fit my iPad in it, that the clips holding the mount to the mount all clicked and stuck to the mount broke at the same time and the iPad stand fell to the ground, luckily without the iPad still in my hands. Without clips, the iPad mount cannot be attached to the microphone stand, so this product is now completely useless! And of course, since Revain was not in customer service, my window to return this item (30 days only) expired ONE DAY before this mount broke and Revain refused to do anything to help me with this lemon mount for iPad. So all I can do is write this review and give the product 1 star. TLDR; This mount looks and feels well built, but in real practical use it fails miserably. I may have just received a poorly made defective version of this product but this return policy sucks anyway and watch out for lemons from this company!
