The original cable that came with my Motorola phone was damaged and I wanted to replace it with a cable of the same specifications and quality. Although this cable is slightly more expensive than the non-genuine cables I've purchased in the past, it looks and functions exactly like the original and I am confident that my phone will not experience any power surges that could potentially damage it. It works with a "Turbo Charge" connector to charge your phone very quickly, just like the original. So it was worth a few bucks more and I would recommend this cable to anyone who owns Motorola phones that require OEM hardware.
