Review on GUNLIRE Blue Destroyed Distressed Stretch Boys' Clothing ~ Jeans by Stephen Parkell

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not quite suitable for an average sized and very thin child

My child wanted 'cool' clothes but we're having trouble finding anything other than sweatpants for him - which is fine , except that you can only wear Adidas Tiros so many days a week before you look tired (or you'll look to other fourth graders like you're wearing the same pair of pants every day). He weighs about 60 pounds and is 53 inches tall and usually fits a slim/adjustable waist size 8 or 7 which then ends about 1 inch above the ankle (he wears a size S in Tyros, but they are baggy at the hip ). Based on questions and feedback I really thought that these 8 skinny jeans would suit him. They arrived with Fred Marshall tags (hmm, not quite in the description), size W8. The length is about half an inch shorter, the slim leg fit is ok but the waist is very large. He was keen to wear them to school though, so we buckled in and he wore a long t-shirt to hide the pleats and buckles at the waist. I'm hoping they will shrink in the wash - then the waist could be closer to the advertised 25 inches, although I'm concerned about how short they will be. so we buckled in and he wore a long t-shirt to hide the pleats and buckles at the waist. Cons
  • boring packaging
