I ordered a small for my 5 lb chihuahua with a 7 inch neck and 13 inch chest. I wanted to order a dress to replace the cone she wore about a week and a half after being spayed. Unfortunately the package was delayed by 6 days so I was ready to hate it and return it when it arrived. But I was pleasantly surprised. The material is soft and stretchy which makes it easy to put on for my dog who usually hates any type of clothing. She tolerates it, so I'm glad I can dress her in something to keep her warm. The neck is like a snug turtleneck and while it doesn't feel uncomfortable I can order a medium color in a different color for a looser fit. The price is reasonable. No foreign smell after removing from the packaging. I washed in a cold machine and line dried. Tried on my dog before and after washing, no shrinkage.
