After my last mattress pad smelled like it was burning, I decided to look around for a new one. After a long search I came across this one that had many positive reviews. I'm in a lot of pain which means my heated mattress topper gets a lot of use which may be why my last mattress topper died so quickly. I immediately put it on the bed and put it on the heat. After almost 20 minutes I felt almost nothing. So I scrolled down to 20 but I like it very hot but even after another 20 minutes it's barely warm. My last mattress topper warmed up immediately and reached the right temperature very quickly. I don't know if mine is defective or if it's because the quilted overlay is too thick for adequate heat penetration, but it's definitely not hot or even warm. I'm also very disappointed because this one wasn't exactly cheap, especially compared to my predecessor. I'll give it a few days to see if it works better, but my hopes are low. If things don't improve in a few days I'll let Revane know so they can see what they can do for me.
