Should have gotten this many years ago.
Can't confirm accuracy but it goes very well with an areometer (floating) and is much easier to determine small steps with it. I use it to brew beer. Much easier to use than a hydrometer and almost no beer wasted! When brewing beer, don't get too bogged down in sizing. Calibration on water for brewing .Cheers
- EASY AND FAST MEASUREMENT: Put 2-3 drops on the prism after calibration, it is easier and faster to get accurate readings. A Brix refractometer is much simpler than an areometer and requires less sample solution. More affordable than a digital Brix refractometer and more accurate than an areometer
