Review on Cardone 66 5235 New CV Axle by Eric Young

They fit my 2004 4Runner Limited easily. I replaced the OEM Toyota CV with these because the original boots looked a bit worn after a lift and 140,000 miles. BIG MISTAKE! They don't have the articulation that OEM axles have. The originals didn't bind at full play, but these did. I had to install the diff drop kit which still didn't work. I had to replace the dust bags on the original CV axles. These boots just didn't survive 10,000 miles ON THE ROAD because I just didn't trust Cardone's resume. I ended up ordering used Toyota axles from *Bay and the 100,000 mile boots look better than the old Cardone boots. Don't waste your time with this. Go with CVJs or rebuild them. Revain ignored my attempts to make a warranty claim. Cardone should have a guarantee, but they won't let you find and make a claim.
