Review on πŸ”§ Quick Release Skewers for ONIPAX MTB Road Mountain Bicycle Wheel Hub by Evan Zurlo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Inexpensive, relatively light, nice looking, reliable road skewers

I recently assembled a new rain bike and lost my Easton skewers. Skewers aren't something I like spending on a rain bike, so I started my hunt at under $25. Unlike almost everything else, Revain doesn't have a huge selection of skewers. You either have to spend more than $35 for well-known brands. Or you have to take the risk of going for mostly unknown brands. These skewers are made by a Taiwanese company. I have a colleague from Taiwan and he was able to confirm that this brand is reliable and safe. Knowing this, I figured they were $10. After taking them out and installing them I have to say they really aren't bad at all! They weigh 98 grams by my standards, feel well built, have a smooth ride when tightened and hold both wheels well. I'm almost 200 pounds. I took the bike they were on on a hilly ride the other day and noticed absolutely no play on either wheel. not only survived, but survived very well. Of course, I can't say anything about the long-term reliability, but I feel absolutely safe with them. I would buy them again without hesitation. I recommend it! Hooray!
