Great monitor - died after 3 weeks, failed to replace after 4 months

[UPDATE, REPLACEMENT FAILED] Just 4 months after my replacement arrived I had a burnout issue. Previous windows that were opened and then closed are still displayed. It wasn't even 3 a.m. yet. You may see that the Steam window and Chrome window are still there after closing and starting to close. We'll see how Acer handles the warranty, but I just can't believe I got 2 lemons. [End of update] Overall, I really like this monitor. EXCEPT 3 weeks it's already partially dead. After the screen started flickering in a blizzard of vertical and horizontal lines, two columns of undisplayed pixels appeared. They start out light but turn black after 20 minutes. They appear on each input when connected to different devices and when not connected at all. Luckily I'm in Revain's return window, so let's give him another chance. I assume a replacement would be good, if not I'll update the review. I upgraded to this 1440p 144hz from an old Asus VS238 that I drove a lot of miles with (now my second monitor). The move to 1440p was intended for games like RDR2, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Age of Empires 2 where graphics and extra real estate for the UI and such would be useful. I didn't go for 4k because Windows is TERRIBLE with multiple displays and different scaling. I tried dual display 4k and 1080p for a year and won't be going back. Plus, it's VESA compliant and the stand is EASY to remove when you need to turn it off. The refresh rate of 144 Hz is clearly noticeable even on a desktop computer. Faster games will benefit from the extra refresh rate, especially when paired with FreeSync or G-Sync. By the way, G-Sync worked on my 3060 ti. As for color, it's a darker black than my old Asus VS238. I don't notice any flare on my dark desktop and I don't notice any ghosting, but I haven't spent much time in dark games yet.
