Haven't tried other helmet brands but this one is great. I would recommend going for the largest (xl) if you have a large head, the helmets fit your forehead well and seem half a size smaller than usual. The intercom function has a good range (e.g. 3-5 footballs). scattered line of sight fields and more static as you approach the range limit, lots of warnings that you're going too far.
