Strange proportions. The wingspan is only about 6-6.5 inches, so the wings are tiny. But the collar itself would be too big for a small kitten. My kitten is 6 months old, the collar fits but the wings are ridiculously small. Another important issue is design and manufacture. Because it is only a collar and not a harness, the wings do not stay in place and tend to fall under the animal's chin instead of staying on the back. While both the collar and wings are made from quality materials, the heavy felt makes it even more difficult for the wings to stay in place. It's a shame because they're cute, but a waste of money since they don't stay in place. and my cat is very concerned when the wings rotate forward.
