Review on ๐Ÿ”Š SoundBot SB510 HD Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker: Mini Wireless Shower Speaker with Handsfree Speakerphone & Built-in Mic by Jennifer Young

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Low price, micro USB charger

So far so good, everything on the Kemara wall of the shower area is well done and didn't fall off, also tested it lay on the Mirror in the bathroom and it didn't fall off, it has a micro USB charger, unlike my last one which used a barrel charger, I'm very happy about that, I got quite wet and still no problem. The plastic runs down and certainly doesn't feel dry or stubborn and has a supple feel, which is important in a device like this because if it breaks it's game over. The charging port cover is not a hard cover and is fitted properly so they don't just fall out. The buttons have a nice click, but I wish they were a bit bigger because sometimes I bump into the button while washing my hair against the plastic, like with Intedee. The suction cup is fitted and attached to it with a semi-circular guide in the groove, she uses it for friction attachment which is a common practice. from the shower walls which can introduce distortion if you're not careful, and they weren't, it's clean and loud for bass but it overwhelms the mids and highs when the bass drops. It's still enough for a shower, but I'd have to be more selective for edc. 4/5 overall, I haven't done a drop test and if it breaks I'll be sure to write down the drop height and number of falls if I remember. Suction cup and like everyone else, if it's too smooth, it won't stick, if the surface has small divisions and doesn't look smooth, it won't stick, because it can't generate enough suction. There is nothing else to blame than physics and the fact that you turn off a product because of your inability to assess potential complications. Think more about your buying habits and think about that speaker hanging from your shower head.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other alternatives
