Review on ☕️ BLACK+DECKER CM0555B: Duralife Glass Carafe 5-Cup Coffeemaker in Black by Marcia Estrella

This coffee maker is dangerous! My boyfriend and I ordered this coffee maker about 7-8 months ago. At first it worked quite well. We cleaned it regularly and it was great - until a month ago. It started not brewing all the coffee, and the device itself was very hot. My friend came down to use it one morning when he was electrocuted and the on/off switch exploded on our kitchen floor because it was hot. My friend was fine except for the fact that his finger turned black from the electrocution and smelled funny, but this stuff is dangerous and I wouldn't buy it again. I'm leaving this review because while we are fine I don't want this to happen to anyone else and I don't want anyone who has already bought this to get hurt. If we weren't home and accidentally left it on, would our whole house burn down? This device we haven't even had a year? Either way, stay safe, make sure to buy safe equipment and maybe look at another coffee maker if you need one. I know I will not buy this item again. <3
