This screen is made from stretchable polyester with a beautiful white front and a second layer of black fabric on the back. The light isolation of black fabric is not 100%. This is good for blocking faint light from behind, but may not block light completely when placed in front of a window. For a permanent installation, it looks like it will stretch just fine, but I'm not sure if it still has the exact dimensions after stretching. I use it as a temporary screen both indoors and outdoors and it's perfect for that. It folds easily into a small bag - when folded, it takes up about the same space as a folded sheet. It is very easy to hang with the included hooks and can be stretched enough to hide most creases. My kit had a rope and some hooks to use on the wall and they both do their job well. There are some creases due to folding. , but don't distract while viewing. Being a fabric it can probably be washed and/or ironed to iron out wrinkles but as I left it for a few hours then put it back in the pouch it came with I didn't try it. The edges are well reinforced and the included grommets feel pretty solid. I paid about thirty five dollars and for the price this is a great and versatile screen.
