This is my second camera remote control. I bought the first one for my Canon Rebel T7i a few weeks ago and I bought this one for my Canon EOS R. Both synchronized perfectly. The first remote I ordered was Canon, but it wouldn't sync to my cameras. The only difference between the Canon and this one is the appearance of some buttons on the remote control. In addition, the remote controls are identical. I should also add that the Canon remote didn't sync to my cameras. This one was cheaper and gave me no problems. Highly recommended! If I buy another camera it will be the remote control that I will buy again.
